Auburn's A-Day game was last weekend, as was the final rolling of the Toomer's Trees. The block downtown was totally blocked off to traffic, but the masses of people still made getting around hard. Judging from the trees, I think it's safe to say Auburn won the A-Day game.
I can't help but wonder how many trees were killed in order to produce that much toilet paper. Oh, the irony.

The following Monday the trees were removed. Once again, the block downtown was closed.
While I was walking to class, the trees' motorcade passed me. I'm not joking when I say this dump truck/ hearse had a 4-car police escort, complete with sirens blaring.
The past Thursday, I made a very quick trip (< 24 hours) to Tuscaloosa to see John Mayer. This concert was his first full concert in 3 years, since his vocal chord granuloma. Our seats were on the very back row of the amphitheater, but John's voice was just as wonderful in the back. Thanks to my zoom lens, I still managed to get some pretty good pictures. (I learned my lesson after Maroon 5 at the BJCC, and snuck in my camera under Charles's jacket. I feel I have redeemed myself.)
Also, never put concert tickets in your back pocket and expect them to be there 15 minutes later when you're ready to enter the venue. Thankfully, we found the tickets on the sidewalk close to the car, but we were both a little wound up by the time Charles spotted them.
